Join the Jaguar Welcome Team!

USA Housing invites USA faculty, staff, students, and campus organizations to be a part of the Jaguar Welcome Team during Move-In 2025 from August 15-16, 2025. If you or your organization is interested in volunteering please click the link below to complete the sign up form! 


What will I be doing as a volunteer?

As a member of the Jaguar Welcome Team, your primary task will be offering a friendly face to students and their families as they arrive on campus. All volunteers are expected to smile, provide warm greetings, and offer directions to anyone who appears lost or uncertain. Tasks during your shift may include:

  • Providing directional assistance/traffic control within unloading zones
  • Helping collect and distribute moving bins
  • Assisting with unloading belongings from vehicles and transporting to the student's room

Where do I park?

Volunteers should review the below options for parking based on the route/residence hall they are assigned:

â–¼   Red Route Volunteers

Volunteers who are assigned to the below residence halls located on the Red Route are encouraged to park in the graveled Parking Lot #203, near the new JMB complex. Golf carts will be available to provide limited transportation for those in need. 

  • Stokes Hall
  • Delta 3-5
  • Delta 6
  • Epsilon 1-2
  • Fraternity & Sorority communities (except KA & PKA)

â–¼   Blue Route Volunteers

Volunteers who are assigned to the below residence halls located on the Blue Route are encouraged to park at the Mitchell Center, Parking Lot #401. Buses will be available to provide transportation to the residential areas.

  • Azalea Hall
  • Camellia Hall
  • PKA & KA

Volunteers who are assigned to Traditions are encouraged to park in the graveled Parking Lot #301 by Stanky Field.

Why volunteer?

Participating in Move-In 2025, and welcoming students to their home, is an incredible experience. It will give you and your organization the opportunity to welcome students and their families to campus while promoting the benefits of belonging to the organizations you are passionate about.

Other benefits of volunteering include:

â–¼   Upperclass student volunteers can move-in EARLY at NO CHARGE! 

Upperclass students who participate in the Jaguar Welcome Team during Move-In 2025 are eligible to move-in early on either Wednesday, August 13, or Thursday, August 14, at no extra cost!

How to arrive early and volunteer as a upperclass student: 

  • You must submit an Early Arrival Request online in your .
  • You must work at least one 4-hour volunteer shift during Move-In 2025 on either August 15 or August 16 to have your Early Arrival fees waived (up to $60).
  • You must sign in with your assigned move in captain on the day you are scheduled to volunteer.
  • You must complete the after Move-In 2025, including submitting a photo, to be eligible for your Early Arrival credit.

Upperclass student volunteers must sign up prior to Wednesday, August 6.

Attendance during Move-In 2025 will be monitored by the USA SGA Office. If needed, student volunteers can request documentation of their service hours to provide their major or student organization.
